Asst. Coach: 14 BLUE

Amanda is from Issaquah, WA and is in her first season with ITVC as the assistant with our 14 Blue team.  She has six year of coaching experience, including her two years each at both of her alma maters, Bellevue College (Assistant Coach) and Issaquah High School (Head JV Coach).

Amanda has many years of local volleyball behind her with five years of club ball, in addition to fours years competing for Issaquah High School, followed by two years for Bellevue.  While at Issaquah, Amanda was a two-time 2nd Team All-Kingco selection.  During her years at Bellevue College she was named a 1st Team All-NWAACC selection, to go along with being chosen as the “Defensive Player of the Week” six times.

Amanda’s goals as a coach are to ensure that her athletes understand the meaning of “student-athlete”, while improving every time they step into the gym.  She feels there is nothing more satisfying as a coach than watching an athlete or a team accomplish something that they have worked very hard on in practice.

Amanda is currently in the process of starting her own event and wedding planning company, and with her recent engagement, there is no place better to start than with planning her own wedding!
