Danielle Orong
Head Coach: 16 BLACK
Danielle has been playing and coaching volleyball for more than 14 years. She began playing club volleyball in Central California and attended Live Oak High in Morgan Hill where she was named 2nd Team All-League and “Most Coachable Player”. She played for two years at West Valley Community College in Saratoga, California, helping lead her team to the state tournament both years. After walking on at San Jose State University, she made the team as a defensive specialist and won “Most Coachable Player” for two consecutive seasons.
Danielle’s coaching career began with Golden Oak Volleyball Club and then continued at a higher level with Club Yahoo and Golden Bear Volleyball Club, where she took two teams to Junior Nationals. She then went on to become the First Assistant Coach at San Jose City College while continuing to coach club volleyball. She was the Assistant Coach for the women’s team at DII Oklahoma Panhandle State Univesrity where her coaching and recruiting efforts helped the team doblue their wins from the previous season.
Danielle is currently the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Edmonds Community College. She earned her bachelor’s degree at San Jose State University and continues to play volleyball in local tournaments. She returns to ITVC for another season as the Head Coach for the 16 Black team.
