ITVC coach

Cody Burton brings a dynamic blend of experience, passion, and player-centered development to ITVC. With a proven track record of transforming programs and helping athletes reach their full potential, Cody is dedicated to building confident, skilled, and mentally resilient volleyball players.

Cody currently serves as the head coach at Green River College and has led significant turnarounds at both collegiate and high school levels. At Todd Beamer High School, he helped elevate the volleyball program from a winless record to playoff contenders in just two seasons, focusing on culture, consistency, and competitive grit. He has also coached with other elite clubs in the PNW and Tennessee, leading teams to multiple podium finishes and tournament championships. Cody’s athletes are known for their versatility, volleyball IQ, and on-court presence - skills he develops through high-rep training, intentional feedback, and a strong emphasis on team identity.

Beyond the court, Cody holds degrees in biochemistry and mathematics education and teaches biomedical science - bringing a unique ability to connect with student-athletes both academically and athletically.

At ITVC, Cody is committed to fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and growth while pushing his teams to compete at the highest level.
