With more than 15 years of coaching experience, Amanda has worked with athletes at a variety of levels, including college, high school, and all levels of club volleyball. Her coaching journey began at 20 when she started coaching club, had 2 years at Bellevue College and a few years later she returned to her alma mater, Issaquah High School, where she coached the JV team for 3 years before being named Program Director and Head Coach. She led the varsity program for 6 seasons before taking a step back to spend more time with her family. She is currently entering her 4th year as Head Coach and Program Director at Tahoma High School.

Amanda is entering her 9th year as the Director of ITVC. She is passionate about building a team-first culture where athletes feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. She believes the best teams are built on trust, discipline, and a genuine sense of family. Her goal is to create an environment that is safe, fun, and competitive while helping athletes develop both on and off the court. While winning is always a goal, Amanda believes true success is measured by an athlete's personal growth, the strength of the team, and the character they build throughout the season.

Beyond volleyball, Amanda believes family always comes first. When she isn't coaching or playing the sport she loves, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their two sons, Kai and Wyatt, and their two German Shepherds. As a family, they love getting outdoors, exploring new places, and making memories together.
